Section 1: Koozakar’s Veterans Discount Policy

At Koozakar, we deeply value the service and sacrifice of military veterans and active-duty personnel. As part of our commitment to inclusivity, recognition, and global scholarly empowerment, we provide exclusive discounts on Article Processing Charges (APC) and consultation fees for individuals who have served in the armed forces.

1. Purpose of the Policy

This policy aims to honor veterans by reducing financial barriers to academic publishing and research development. many veterans transition into higher education, professional training, or post-service research careers, and Koozakar proudly supports that journey through meaningful financial relief and scholarly collaboration.

2. Discount Structure
  • 100% APC Discount for Retired Veterans: Fully retired service members receive a complete waiver (100%) on all Article Processing Charges and Koozakar consultation fees.
  • 75% APC Discount for Active Service Members: Current military personnel on active duty are entitled to a 75% reduction on APC and professional consultation services.
3. Coverage and Application

The discount applies to all Koozakar Journals and research consultation services. Eligible applicants must provide valid proof of veteran or active service status (e.g., DD Form 214 or equivalent national documentation).

Our workplace model is designed to accommodate the realities of modern scholarship — connecting editors, researchers, and professionals from diverse time zones into one cohesive global ecosystem.

All Koozakar operations are predominantly conducted remotely. Team members are empowered to work from any location, provided deadlines and communication standards are maintained, reflecting our belief that “great ideas are borderless.”

2. Work Flexibility and Accountability

Our contributors manage their schedules around clear deliverables, not fixed hours. What matters most is output quality, ethical conduct, and collaboration. Koozakar encourages work–life balance and respects everyone’s time zone, family, and academic commitments.

Section 3: Koozakar Peer Review Policy

At Koozakar, we uphold the highest standards of scholarly integrity, transparency, and fairness in the review and publication process. Our peer review system is designed to ensure that all submissions are evaluated objectively.

1. Double-Blind Peer Review

All standard research journals operate primarily under a double-blind peer review model, where the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential to ensure objective evaluation based solely on academic merit.

2. Editorial and Perspective Articles

For manuscripts authored by Koozakar’s editors or affiliates, an open review process is adopted to enhance transparency. These papers undergo rigorous external review by independent experts outside the submitting author's network.

Section 4: Refund and Cancellation Policy

Koozakar values transparency and fairness. As Koozakar operates on a pay-after-acceptance model, fees are only invoiced after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

1. Refund Eligibility
  • Technical Erros: Duplicate payments are refunded within 10–15 business days.
  • Publisher Error: Full refunds are granted if publication cannot proceed due to a publisher-side issue.
  • Pre-Production Withdrawal: Partial refunds may be issued if a manuscript is withdrawn after payment but before layout/DOI assignment.

Koozakar operates on a foundation of transparency and accountability. All alliances, sponsorships, and operational frameworks align with global publishing ethics and academic independence.

a. Indexing and Archiving

Koozakar is committed to long-term preservation and discoverability. We maintain active partnerships with Crossref, Google Scholar, and DOAJ to ensure every article has a persistent DOI and is safeguarded for the future.

b. Transparency in Governance

The ownership and management of Koozakar are openly declared. Editorial boards operate independently, and all decisions are guided by academic merit, not financial influence.
