At Koozakar, we deeply value the service and sacrifice of military veterans and active-duty personnel. As part of our commitment to inclusivity, recognition, and global scholarly empowerment, we provide exclusive discounts on Article Processing Charges (APC) and consultation fees for individuals who have served in the armed forces.
This policy aims to honor veterans by reducing financial barriers to academic publishing and research development. Many veterans transition into higher education, professional training, or post-service research careers, and Koozakar proudly supports that journey through meaningful financial relief and scholarly collaboration.
The discount applies to:
Eligible applicants must provide valid proof of veteran or active service status (e.g., DD Form 214, veteran ID card, or equivalent national documentation). Verification is handled confidentially by Koozakar’s administrative office.
The veterans discount policy remains active year-round as part of Koozakar’s ongoing social responsibility initiative. Renewal or re-verification may be requested annually to maintain eligibility and fairness.
Koozakar is not just a publisher — it is a platform built by researchers, for researchers. Extending this courtesy to veterans reflects our belief in service, scholarship, and shared humanity. Through this initiative, we aim to ensure that those who serve their nations can also continue to serve knowledge, science, and society through accessible research and publication opportunities.
Koozakar — honoring service through science, and empowering veterans to publish with purpose.
Koozakar operates as a remote-first, research-driven organization that values flexibility, collaboration, and measurable impact over physical presence. Our workplace model is designed to accommodate the realities of modern scholarship — connecting editors, researchers, and professionals from diverse time zones into one cohesive global ecosystem.
All Koozakar operations — from editorial management, research support, publishing services, to training — are mostly conducted remotely. Team members are free to work from any location, provided deadlines and communication standards are maintained. This policy reflects our belief that “great ideas are borderless,” and productivity thrives in trust-based environments rather than fixed office spaces.
Our contributors manage their schedules around clear deliverables, not fixed hours. What matters most is output quality, ethical conduct, and collaboration. Weekly or biweekly virtual check-ins ensure alignment across teams without micromanagement. Koozakar encourages work–life balance and respects everyone’s time zone, family, and academic commitments.
We utilize a suite of digital tools for communication, task tracking, and document sharing, ensuring seamless collaboration between editors, reviewers, designers, and research associates worldwide. All communications are conducted through official Koozakar emails, secured cloud drives, and project dashboards.
Koozakar’s remote culture is inclusive and academically empowering. We provide continuous learning opportunities through internal workshops, volunteer programs, and cross-journal collaboration. Every contributor — regardless of geography — has equal opportunity to lead, publish, or represent Koozakar in global research networks.
In essence, Koozakar is built by researchers, for researchers — a globally connected, ethically grounded, and digitally empowered academic community.
At Koozakar, we uphold the highest standards of scholarly integrity, transparency, and fairness in the review and publication process. Our peer review system is designed to ensure that all submissions are evaluated objectively, with equal opportunity for authors across disciplines and regions.
All Koozakar journals operate primarily under a double-blind peer review model, meaning that:
This model reinforces our commitment to unbiased, ethical, and equitable evaluation, consistent with international best practices and COPE guidelines.
For manuscripts authored by Koozakar’s editors, affiliates, or invited contributors such as editorials, perspectives, and policy opinion pieces — an open review process is adopted to enhance transparency and credibility.
This dual approach — “internal plus invited open review” — ensures that even reflective or opinion-based pieces maintain scholarly rigor, balanced argumentation, and ethical publication standards.
All reviewers are expected to:
The Editor-in-Chief or Managing Editor makes the final decision based on reviewer recommendations and the manuscript’s alignment with the journal’s scope and quality standards. Authors receive detailed feedback and may be invited to revise and resubmit before a final verdict is issued.
In essence, Koozakar’s peer review policy combines fairness, transparency, and academic excellence — balancing traditional double-blind rigor with open, expert-led evaluation for editorials and perspectives. This ensures that every published work, whether empirical or reflective, meets the highest global standards of credibility and impact.
Koozakar values transparency, fairness, and ethical publishing. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which authors may request a refund for Article Processing Charges (APC) or other related fees. As Koozakar operates on a pay-after-acceptance model, fees are only invoiced after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication, and before it is processed for final release.
Authors are required to make payment only after formal acceptance of their manuscript. The APC covers final production, typesetting, DOI assignment, indexing submission, and online publication.
Refunds may be considered under the following conditions:
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
For paid consultation, training, or recognition services, refunds are granted as follows:
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@koozakar.com with proof of payment and a clear explanation of the reason for the request. Verified refunds are processed through the original payment method within 10–15 business days.
This policy applies uniformly across all Koozakar journals and programs. It ensures ethical, transparent, and fair treatment of all contributors, balancing financial accountability with respect for authors’ rights and scholarly integrity.
