Originality and Ethical Guidelines

Submissions must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere. Authors are responsible for ensuring ethical compliance, accurate citation, and avoidance of plagiarism or redundant publication.

Plagiarism/Similarity Screening (Initial Check)

All manuscripts submitted to NTST are initially screened for originality using iThenticate (Turnitin). This generates a Similarity Report highlighting matched text and indicating overlap with existing literature and relevant web sources. Similarity results are reviewed carefully by the editors—a similarity score alone does not determine plagiarism—and submissions with concerning overlap (e.g., unattributed copying, excessive duplication, or suspected redundant publication) may be returned for correction or declined in line with our publication ethics standards.

Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind review by at least two independent international experts. Our average first-decision timeline is typically 4–8 weeks, and in some cases may extend to up to 16 weeks depending on reviewer availability and revision cycles. Reviews are based on the manuscript’s originality, methodological rigor, clarity, relevance to the NTST’s scope, and ethical compliance. From initial submission to publication, the average turnaround time is approximately 16 weeks, subject to the timeliness of author revisions and final production processing. Editorial decisions may include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection. We maintain strict confidentiality and conflict-of-interest standards throughout the review process and adhere to COPE-aligned ethical guidelines.

Mentorship-Driven Feedback (Koozakar Publishing Model)

Koozakar is transforming scholarly publishing through a mentorship-driven approach that prioritizes learning and improvement. Authors can expect high-quality, constructive feedback designed to strengthen research reporting, academic writing, and scholarly contribution—even when a manuscript is not accepted. Where feasible, rejected manuscripts may still receive improvement-focused guidance to support revision and successful resubmission elsewhere.

Submission Categories

NTST welcomes original research articles, review papers, short communications, case studies, methods papers, and technical reports across science and technology domains, including (but not limited to) environmental and biological sciences, chemistry, physics, engineering, computational/data science, applied AI, health and technology, innovation systems, and emerging technologies.

Submission Process

Submit via Koozakar’s easy online submission portal (linked below).

Include a cover letter outlining the significance of the work, novelty, and contribution to science/technology.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright and grant NTST the right to publish and distribute accepted manuscripts under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Article Processing Charges (APC)

The APC for all accepted papers is USD 250. These charges support our open-access publishing model and cover editorial processing, peer-review management, plagiarism/similarity checks, copyediting, typesetting/formatting, metadata handling, online hosting/archiving, and long-term platform maintenance. The APC is payable only after acceptance and once the manuscript reaches the final processing/production stage. There is no submission fee. Authors based in the Global South are encouraged to request discounted APC rates, and such requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Waivers

Waivers may be considered for early-career researchers and graduate students conducting self-funded research, particularly from developing countries. Authors with documented financial constraints may apply through the editorial office.

Donations

We welcome donations that support our mission, provided such contributions do not compromise editorial independence or research integrity.
