Open Access Statement

Biodiversity, Environment & Public Health (BEPH) is a fully open-access journal. All articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Under this license, readers and other users are permitted to share, copy, redistribute, remix, adapt, and build upon published work, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the source of publication.

In line with the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) definition of Open Access, all articles published in BEPH are freely and permanently available to the public. Readers may access, read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, and use the full text of articles without financial, legal, or technical barriers, subject to the terms of the CC BY 4.0 license.

Copyright

Authors retain the copyright to their published work. By publishing with BEPH, authors grant the journal the right of first publication and permit the article to be distributed under the CC BY 4.0 license.

Authors are free to reuse their work in future publications, books, repositories, teaching materials, presentations, or other scholarly outputs, provided that the original publication in BEPH is properly acknowledged.

Permissions and Third-Party Materials

Authors are responsible for obtaining appropriate permission to reproduce any copyrighted material that is not their own, including figures, tables, photographs, maps, illustrations, questionnaires, or substantial extracts from previously published works.

Any third-party material that is not covered by the article’s CC BY 4.0 license must be clearly identified with the appropriate copyright notice, source attribution, and permission statement.

Where permission is required, authors should secure it before publication and retain evidence of such permission for editorial verification if requested.
