Submission Guide for Authors
How to Submit a Manuscript to Koozakar Festschrift

Please send all submissions via email to festschrift@koozakar.com. Individual submissions are not permitted. Submissions must be received as a group, containing at least 10 articles, and should be in .doc or .docx format.

Step One: Understanding Koozakar Festschrift

Koozakar Festschrift is a selective, open-access journal dedicated to publishing curated collections that reflect the scholarly legacy of distinguished professors and scholars. Submissions must be original works that have not been previously published or considered for publication elsewhere.

Step Two: Preparing the Manuscript

Manuscripts must adhere to the APA 6th edition citation style and meet the following structural and formatting requirements:

Manuscript Structure
  • Manuscripts should be organized with the following sections in this order:
    1. Title
    2. Full Name and Affiliation of Author(s)
    3. Abstract
    4. Keywords
    5. Introduction
    6. Materials and Methods (if applicable)
    7. Results and Discussions (either separate or combined as appropriate)
    8. Conclusions or Reflections
    9. Acknowledgments
    10. Conflicts of Interest and Author Contributions (if applicable)
    11. References
    Manuscript Elements
  • Authors: Provide full names, institutional affiliations, and valid email addresses for all contributors.
  • Abstract: The abstract should be a concise summary (≤300 words) that highlights the purpose, significance, and originality of the
  • work.
  • Introduction: Contextualize the manuscript within the overall theme of the curated collection and its relevance to the scholarly
  • legacy of the honored professor.
  • Materials and Methods: Include enough detail to allow for reproducibility (for research-based manuscripts).
  • Results and Discussions: Present findings or reflections, discussing their broader implications in the field.
  • Conclusions or Reflections: Summarize the manuscript’s main contributions and their relevance to the curated collection’s theme.
  • Acknowledgments: Optional – recognize funding sources, collaborators, or key contributors.
  • Conflicts of Interest: Declare any potential conflicts of interest or explicitly state that none exist.
  • Author Contributions: Use the CRediT taxonomy for author contributions (CRediT Taxonomy).
  • References: Follow the APA 6th edition style, ensuring citations are current and relevant.
