Dr. Olayemi Funmilayo Dickson is a distinguished transport and logistics professional and research officer at the National Centre for Technology Management (NACETEM).

With over a decade of experience in transport planning and policy, innovation management, and inclusive mobility, she has become one of Africa’s most respected voices on the future of transport, particularly in designing systems that promote accessibility for all, including people with disabilities. Her research and advocacy focus on mobility justice, technology-driven transportation solutions, and climate-resilient infrastructure.

She earned a Ph.D. degree in Transport and Logistics from Lagos State University; her doctoral research focuses on Inclusive Transportation Infrastructure and the Mobility of People with Disabilities in the Lagos Metropolis. She also holds an M.Sc. in Technology Management (Transport Option) from Obafemi Awolowo University, and a B.Tech. in Transport Management Technology from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO).

At NACETEM, Dr. Dickson serves as the Desk Officer for Transport Research and Related Activities, where she formulates and implements research projects, advises on national transport activities, and lectures at the Centre’s postgraduate programs. Her technical expertise has contributed to several national initiatives, including the World Bank STEP-B Project and Nigeria’s National Policy on Welding and Related Fields.

Internationally recognized, Dr. Dickson is a Transport Specialist Think Tank Member at Climate Survival Solutions (CSS), Inc., PBC, USA, and an active member of prestigious professional bodies, including:
